What are the side effects of hair transplantation?

In particular cases swelling does appear  in the area around the forehead and eyelids on the third day after the transplant, but disappears two days later – nowadays swelling is prevented mostly by affixing a special adhesive dressing to the upper forehead for 4 days, in addition to an anti-swelling medication.
In 20% of cases there is the possibility that the transplant will cause a lack of sensation in the transplant area – num ( due to the anaesthetic) for a period of a few weeks and even months – however, the phenomenon invariably passes and does not interfere with the day to day functioning of the patient.
